Student & Practicum
NCFSS is committed to protecting our children and keeping Nlaka’pamux families strong by enhancing the healing process with traditional teachings and practice. We offer meaningful learning opportunities for students to immerse their knowledge, values and theory base into restorative child welfare practice, that is grounded in both contemporary and traditional approaches, of Indigenous knowledge and practice.

You will be requested to submit a cover letter and resume to a field placement coordinator for review and consideration.
Student Practicum placements will be subjected to recruitment, screening and management standards and expectations that are based on our HR Personnel and Financial Policies.
All Practicum Students completing their placements with NCFSS must be able to provide a Criminal Record Check that is current within one (1) year.
